How to enable secure browsing (https) on Facebook

If you use Facebook (that’s about 10% of the people on the planet right now), RUN, don’t walk, to the new Facebook security settings and enable Secure Browsing (https).

Login to your Facebook account, then go to the top right corner, select Account > Account Settings.
Next to “Account security” click “change”.
Under “Secure Browsing (https)” select the checkbox “Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) whenever possible”, then click Save.
